Our commitment to sustainability
At Belfast TradFest, we’re committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. Last summer, we donated a native Irish oak tree to each of our summer school tutors to help offset our carbon footprint.
The Irish oak, a species deeply rooted in our natural heritage, will not only contribute to the ecosystem by absorbing carbon but also provide habitats for local wildlife. By planting these trees, we aim to give back to the environment and ensure a positive legacy for generations to come.
Thanks to Gerry O’Connor and Síle Boylan (pictured here) for their generous donation of the trees.
